Are in-office sessions right for me?

Sessions are conducted in a traditional therapy room set up with a long sofa for sitting or laying down and a therapist chair for listening. Frequently Asked Questions
What are your hours of practice in this office?
Sundays 3:00pm to 8:00pm for new or returning clients beginning February 2020.
How early should I arrive to my appointment?
Its encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive early, please help yourself to a cup of tea or water until I am able to greet you. If you arrive late, please note that your session time begins when your appointment time starts. Additional time cannot be added to late arrivals out of respect to other client appointments.
Does your office allow pets? What about Emotional Support Animals or Service Dogs?
As much as I love animals (especially dogs), pets are not allowed in the office. Very rarely, exceptions for service animals providing support for physical health reasons may be made. Proof of registration from a legitimate registration source is required, and I must speak to your primary care physician to consult about your need. Unfortunately, emotional service animals will not be recognized as service animals. All cases are subject to approval even after consultation and proof of registration.
Can I bring my partner or children inside the room with me?
The nature of individual sessions are to support you as an individual. On occasion, your partner and children may be invited into the therapy room and only in support of your mental health recovery. This includes learning about your mental health conditions, how to best support you, and what resources may be available to your family members or partners for their own support. Family members 12 years of age or older are welcome to remain in the waiting room during your session. Infants are able to accompany you in the therapy room, but are required to remain in a carrier or sling throughout your session.
Do you accept insurance?
I have limited slots for Cigna Health Insurance. I encourage those looking to bill their insurance to inquire if their mental health care coverage will allow for reimbursement. Additionally, I accept FSA/HSA cards as a form of payment.
